He Himself cannot lie and has revealed Himself as the One Who is &quot;the Way, the Truth, and the Life.&quot; It would be logically consistent and completely understandable that He would require verbal self-control on the part of those He has created.<\/p>\n<p> It is also fascinating that He would grade the eternal significance and value of our religious exercises. Often our own sense of well-being arises from priding ourselves in being a church-goer and, therefore, religious. If anyone can pass judgment on the success of your religious effectiveness God can. You probably wouldn&#8217;t take it kindly from anyone else.
