Easter Sunrise Service

Due to the unpleasant weather forecast, we met at 7:00 a.m. at the church (instead of outside at Dahlgren Wayside) for a special service commemorating Jesus’ resurrection. ‘Tis a sweet and worthy thing to remember.

Ah, spring! Time for the semi-annual much anticipated spring campfire fellowship. Cool nights, hot dogs; macaroni salad, toasted marshmallows, canvas chairs, and worshipful hearts. Yes, springtime!

Many Hanover ladies and their daughters joined together in the fellowship hall today for food and fellowship. Today was the day we created the much-appreciated, hand-decorated, milk-carton birdhouses to decorate the Heritage Hall nursing home for Easter!

Through the spring and summer we will be hosting a monthly community dinner. Today was our kick-off event and we started out with spaghetti (who doesn’t like spaghetti?). Bob and Jay were primary pasta/sauce cookers while the ladies prepared crisp salads and bread. It was a wonderful opportunity to reach out to our neighbors, both in hospitality and Gospel-sharing.

We did something a little different this month for our 5th Sunday Fellowship. First off, it was right after the morning service. After our meal, everyone handed out flyers in the neighborhood to advertise our Community Outreach Spaghetti Dinner. It was a simple way for everyone to participate in outreach.
